Priscilla is a Principal with over 30 years of experience designing projects with a special focus in educational facilities. Since first joining the firm in 1995, Priscilla has been involved in all the firm’s major projects. A graduate from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, Priscilla brings exceptional design problem solving and team coordination skills. Priscilla is an alumni of Skills Canada, having won national competitions in architecture at a young age, now lending time mentoring high school students.

Steven is a Principal who joined the firm in 2002 and has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. As a graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson) and Masters degree from Lawrence Tech’s Architectural Engineering program, Steven’s main focus in all office projects is in the Contract Document and Contract Administration Phases. Steven is the firm’s lead contract administration representative.

Carolyn is an enthusiastic and versatile Architect and Shareholder with 30 years of experience in the field, on a diverse range of project types and for a wide variety of client groups. Carolyn’s specialized skills include: innovative and functional design solutions, creative team leadership, strong client retention, project oversight, and public speaking.

Chris Telfer joined Hossack Architecture in 2012 and currently has over 25 years’ of industry experience. As an OAA Licensed Architect and Shareholder, Chris’ expertise lies in the areas of Construction Practices, Owner Relationships and Project Management. Chris is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University where he attained a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Christine has over 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry and is a Shareholder. As a Senior
Architectural Technologist, licenced with the OAA, she brings a wealth of knowledge in technical detailing, building science and construction technology with relation to complex projects. Christine has developed strong, long-standing relationships with municipal authorities across Southern Ontario and is highly experienced in navigating complex planning and building approval processes.

Jonathan Knight joined Hossack Architecture in 2013 upon completing his Masters of Architecture at the University of Toronto. He is a Licensed Architect with the OAA and is a Shareholder. Jonathan manages projects through design, approvals and construction. His experience with developing schematic presentation imagery and conceptual renderings, allows clientele to visualize proposed development through all stages of the project.

Karolina joined Hossack & Associates in 2011 after graduing with High Honors from Sheridan College’s Business Administration – Finance Advanced Diploma program and is a Shareholder. Karolina is the Financial Administrator for the firm and manages all aspects of the financial and accounting related process for the company which includes Accounts Payables and Receivables. Karolina also works with the management team to prepare budgets and provides financial forecasting and analysis.

Rabab brings a decade of architecture and landscape architecture industry experience to the team. She is completing her Internship with the OAA soon to be licenced. Rabab is part of the design and productions team, while also providing support through construction administration. She is detail oriented and her diverse experience supports the team through different stages of design development, approvals and contract document production.

Kevin joined Hossack and Associates Architects in 2019 upon graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree at Lawrence Technological University. His acquired technical knowledge from achieving an Architectural Technology diploma with high honours, together with his project coordination and management work experiences make him a skilled asset in numerous new construction and renovation projects.

Jim holds an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology from Sheridan College, with a strong emphasis in technical accuracy. His experience includes construction detailing and the preparation of well-coordinated contract documentation with interest high-performance building design. With diverse BIM knowledge, he fosters multi-disciplinary collaboration and his diligence reduces coordination conflicts throughout project delivery.

Alexander joined Hossack Architecture in 2021 as an Intern Architect involved in all stages of project development. He holds a Master of Architecture from University of Calgary’s School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Laurentian University’s McEwen School of Architecture. Alexander’s design philosophy is rooted in creating meaningful, human-centred environments that foster community, belonging, and well-being through the use of biophilic design and rich material palettes.

Ya Ting graduated from Architectural Engineering at University of Waterloo as part the Class of 2023 with an interest in harmonizing the science of buildings and the artistry of architecture. Ya Ting is detail oriented with a technical problem solving accumen. Her focus is administering projects through the construction phase.

Travis, a George Brown graduate, became part of Hossack Architecture in 2023. He plays an active role in crafting construction documents and details. Proficient in 3D modelling and CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD, Travis showcases a versatile skill set that harmonizes with his hands-on experience in the field.

Shahmir holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from TMU and Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. He supports the team primarily in Contract Administration through consultant coordination, shop drawing reviews, site observations, and collaboration with contractors to help ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the design intent.

As the founding Principal, Peter is now enjoying retirement after over 35 years as senior coordinating Architect. Peter’s role in the establishing the firm’s name and reputation as a stable, well‐managed architectural practice owned by shareholding employees is significant and the firm continues to carry his name to recognize this contribution.
